Primary surgical protocol
Cleft Lip Repair:
- Timing: 3-4 months
- Type of operation: Modified Millard or Millard rotation advancement
Bilateral Cleft Lip Repair:
- Timing: 4-6 months
- Type of operation: Mulliken
Cleft Palate Repair:
- Timing: 10-12 months
- Type of operation: Modified Bardach or V-Y push back with or without buccal mucosal flap

At birth (before presurgical orthopedics-nasoalveolar molding NAM), after NAM (3 to 6 months), after primary surgery (Intraoral and extraoral photos, intraoral and extraoral casts)
At early mixed dentition stage (7-8 years) radiographic, photographic records and dental models are taken.
3DCTs are also taken before alveolar bone grafting or orthognathic surgery. At the end of orthodontic treatment radiographic, photographic records and dental models are obtained.
