Humanitarian cleft mission, on behalf of the CCI Zurich (Cleft Children International – Prof. Sailer’s foundation) – one month in Niger – Dr. Eduard Gidea Paraschivescu, chief surgeon and head of the mission and Dr. Florin Urtila – assistant surgeon. The goals were to put the basis of a cleft center in Niamey, the capital city of Niger, perform 35 cleft surgeries and select three local surgeons to be sent to India, by the CCI, for intensive training. |
